Russia is bringing Hamas into its embrace

Despite the war in Ukraine, Russia is closely following the escalation in Jerusalem and the Temple Mount and has invited a Hamas delegation to Moscow to discuss the situation.

The Russians understand that the Hamas movement has become an important regional factor and despite their close relations with the PA chairman, they also want an open channel with Hamas.

Hamas leader Ismail Haniya has been invited to Moscow.
