As every fighter knows, the battlefield presents you with challenges from different directions, which you can't always anticipate.
For Yahalom (which means in Hebrew "Diamond" and is the Elite unit that specializes in underground warfare) fighters, who are required to be independent as a combined force, this means that they often have to adapt to all the unit's professions in order to meet the mission.
So how do you do it? We heard from a company commander in training about the change that will turn the trainees into professionals - no matter whether they are facing a mine, bomb or tunnel
In the "SP company", they neutralize explosives, in the "Smaur" they destroy and investigate terror tunnels, in "Yael" they plant mines in enemy buildings and in "Snowy Slope" they will break into any structure needed - and this is just the tip of the iceberg of Yahalom's capabilities.
