Iran’s foreign minister says Tehran will strike US military targets in the region and refuses any ceasefire unless its conditions are met.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi declared that Iran will continue targeting US military assets across the region in response to American actions, insisting that any unintended civilian casualties are the responsibility of the US.
He claimed that US forces are positioned in areas near civilian populations, increasing the risk of collateral damage, while denying deliberate attacks on civilians.
However, this claim stands in direct contradiction to events on the ground. Just last night, an Iranian missile carrying cluster munitions struck a residential building in Ramat Gan, killing a couple in their 70s as they tried to reach a safe room. Cluster weapons disperse multiple smaller explosives over a wide area, making them inherently indiscriminate and far more likely to hit civilians.
