One of the mortar shells hit a Lebanese army base near Sidon and killed a Lebanese soldier.
The Lebanese army is now responding to the sources of the shooting.
Fatah is currently recruiting 300 terrorists from the National Guard unit who will come from the various camps in Lebanon and enter the battle in Ain al Hilwa.
Sources in Hezbollah react for the first time with anger at the Fatah men and say: "Perhaps Israel is not behind the fighting, but it serves its interests perfectly."
