Lebanese diplomatic sources admitted to the newspaper Ad-Diyar that ongoing contacts between Israel and Lebanon are expected to produce a “state of unofficial normalization.”

According to the sources, Lebanon is negotiating with Israel through two parallel tracks.

The first is a technical channel focused on ceasefire arrangements, conducted by military officers through the joint monitoring committee.
