The Fuel and Gas Administration at the Ministry of Energy announces that at midnight between Tuesday and Wednesday (January 31, 2023-February 1, 2023) the prices of the regulated fuel products sold to consumers at gas stations will be updated.
The maximum price per liter of unleaded 95 octane gasoline for the consumer at a self-service station (including VAT) shall not exceed NIS 7.17 (about $2.3) per liter (about $8.70 per gallon), an increase of 33 Agorot from the previous update. The supplement for full service will be 21 Agorot per liter (including VAT), unchanged from the previous update.
The maximum price per liter of unleaded 95 octane gasoline for the consumer at a self-service station in Eilat (without VAT) shall not exceed NIS 6.13 (about $1.8) per liter (about $6.80 per gallon), an increase of 28 Agorot from the previous update. The supplement for full service will be 18 Agorot (without VAT), unchanged from the previous update.
The price increases come after Prime Minister Netanyahu promised that he would cut gas prices.
