Moshe discussed Israel's security challenges, emphasizing that enemies consistently threaten ground attacks against Israel and highlighting Hezbollah's training activities in Lebanon. He explained that after Israel's withdrawal from Gaza in 2005, Hamas committed horrific atrocities including the murder of a baby, and argued that Israel must complete its mission in Lebanon before addressing Gaza. 

Moshe expressed hope that Israel would eventually return to settle the Gaza Strip, which he considers part of Israel, but first needs to eliminate Hamas. 

Laurie shared personal insights about friends who grew up in Gaza before moving to the United States, and mentioned having a powerful New York Times photograph from when IDF removed Gaza villages. Moshe concluded by emphasizing that Israel faces unique threats from multiple organizations and the Iranian regime, making it crucial to maintain secure borders.
