US military forces have reportedly activated encrypted communications networks at an unusually intense level across the Strait of Hormuz region.

Monitoring centers detected heavy activity involving CENTCOM’s military radio networks and highly encrypted systems used by US naval and air units stationed in the Persian Gulf, Gulf of Oman and Arabian Sea.

Such activity can indicate that commanders are transmitting real-time operational orders, coordinating aircraft and warships, or preparing forces to operate under the threat of Iranian electronic interference.
