Train to Jerusalem to Get Added Stations in the City

Israel’s National Committee for Planning and Building National Infrastructures Monday approved the plan to extend the high-speed train line to Jerusalem.

The plan is to connect it by tunnel through the city to the Khan “First Station” complex located near the German colony, just below the Old City walls, with another station in the city center.

With the completion of the works, 13 trains per hour will operate in each direction, from and to Jerusalem. This will be a large increase from just two per hour that currently run.

Great, and the tunnels could make for a mass shelter 🙏
