The government approved the proposal of Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar to complete the establishment of the first heritage center for the Druze community
The approval of the decision today comes in accordance with the Druze Heritage Center Law in Israel from 2007 and the decision from 2016 for the construction of a heritage center for the Druze community, which will now be completed together with a budget commitment, for the establishment of the center in the village of Yanoch Jet.
The CEO of the Druze Heritage Center Mahmoud Shanan says:
"The government's decision brings us a huge step closer to making history and inaugurating the center which will be a basis for educational, touristic and social activities and a magnet for visitors from Israel and the world.
