Netanyahu: Hamas rejected an offer to release half of the hostages alive, ending the war would send a message that terrorism pays off, we will increase pressure on Hamas
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said this evening in his recorded statement that "As Prime Minister, I will not surrender to the murderers who committed the worst massacre since the Holocaust. Surrender would endanger the security of the state. We have no choice but to continue fighting until victory. We are at a crucial stage."
Netanyahu added that "I am committed to preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons - we will not back down one millimeter from this promise. Without our activity, Iran would have had nuclear weapons ten years ago."
According to Netanyahu, "Hamas rejected the offer to release half of the hostages alive. Hamas demands an end to the war on terms of surrender. Next October 7 is just a matter of time if we do not eliminate the Hamas regime." According to him, "Those elements who call for an end to the war, what are they doing? They are echoing Hamas propaganda word for word."
Prime Minister Netanyahu added: "We will not end the War of Rebirth before we defeat Hamas in Gaza, and return our hostages. Before we ensure that the Gaza Strip no longer poses a threat. I ask you, did our fighters fall in vain?"
"The mission is not yet complete and I intend to complete it without surrendering. We will increase the pressure on Hamas until we complete all the goals of the war. I emphasize, we will not give up a single hostage - alive or dead," Netanyahu added.
