Police issued 30-day closure orders against seven businesses after officers found they employed or housed more than 50 people who were in Israel illegally, according to authorities, as part of a weeklong enforcement operation led by Northern District Commander Meir Eliyahu.
Police said the campaign involved Northern District units working with Border Police, the National Guard, and local immediate response teams.
