NEWSRAEL: Many conflicting reports about what the Trump administration is doing with regards to Gaza are being "floated" in the media.
The United States has delivered a clear message to the mediating countries — as well as to the states preparing to take part in the future International Security Force for Gaza (ISF): Washington will allow Israel to restart the war in Gaza if Hamas does not agree to disarm as part of the emerging arrangements.
According to diplomatic sources, the US stressed that any ceasefire or post-war framework must include the full removal of Hamas’ weapons and military infrastructure. If Hamas rejects this requirement, the administration has made it clear it will not stand in the way of Israel taking military action again to eliminate the threat.
The message reflects growing American frustration with Hamas’ refusal to give up its armed capabilities, as well as strong backing for Israel’s right to ensure that the terror group cannot rebuild its power. Countries involved in the talks were told that stability in Gaza is impossible as long as Hamas maintains an armed wing.
