Border Police officers, directed by the Shin Bet, arrested two suspected terrorists accused of preparing to carry out a shooting attack in Jerusalem in the immediate future.

The operation began covertly inside Shuafat before the officers moved openly against two separate targets. Forces simultaneously stormed both buildings, arrested the suspects inside their homes and transferred them to the Shin Bet for interrogation.

All Israeli forces left the area safely and without unusual incidents.
