Hamas’ internal security apparatus warns activists and journalists in Gaza not to share any material with Israeli outlets following a Kan News report highlighting local opposition to the terror group.
Hamas has issued a public warning to activists and journalists inside Gaza after a report by Kan News correspondent Anastasia Stoknov presented voices critical of the terror group from within the Strip.
In a statement published on the Telegram account “Al-Hares,” reportedly operated by Hamas’ internal security mechanisms, the organization cautioned residents against maintaining any direct or indirect contact with Israeli media. According to the message, “any image, audio clip, or media material received by Israel from local activists inside the Strip constitutes a security offense that will require the perpetrator to be investigated.”
The statement further accused Israeli media of serving “the Zionist security and military establishment,” claiming it assists in intelligence gathering, agent recruitment, spreading falsehoods, and conducting psychological warfare. Hamas warned that anyone violating the directive “does so at his own responsibility and will be held accountable.”
