Iranian General Ali Nasiri, who was arrested on suspicion of spying for Israel, was quoted today (Friday) in Iranian-affiliated media, including the Hezbollah-affiliated television station Al-Mayadin, denying reports of his arrest.
The general, who had previously been entrusted with the security of intelligence personnel, was quoted in the media as saying, "What the Americans have spread is rumors, I am still in my job and continuing my work."
