During the past week, combat teams of the 7th Brigade carried out several significant operations in the underground route area in eastern Rafah, in order to eliminate additional terrorists staying there.

Last week, several terrorists were eliminated in an encounter with IDF forces, and as part of searches conducted on the route yesterday, it was confirmed that the forces eliminated three terrorists in an encounter, and eliminated six additional terrorists as part of the operations being carried out on the route.

IDF forces under Southern Command will continue to operate to eliminate the terrorists staying on the routes in the area, will remain deployed in accordance with the agreement, and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
