Senior Iraqi political and security sources told Aram News that unusual indicators observed in recent days have prompted Baghdad to raise its alert level over the possibility of a limited Israeli military strike against Iran-aligned Iraqi factions. 

The concern is linked directly to the expected summit between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to the sources, recent security, financial, and political movements inside Iraq cannot be separated from broader regional discussions over the future of armed factions operating outside state authority and their role in any future confrontation between Israel and the Iranian axis.
