Extensive airstrikes on Iranian militias in eastern Syria: Were these IDF attacks?

On Sunday, sites of Iranian militias in the city of Al-Bukhamal and its rural areas, east of Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria, were attacked by unidentified aircraft, and then fire broke out in the sites that were attacked at the same time as the sounds of the explosions that were heard.

The Farat Post news network said that unidentified drones carried out airstrikes on Iranian militia positions in the city of Albukhamal and its countryside, east of Deir ez-Zor, on Sunday morning.

The network reported that the aircraft attacked trucks loaded with weapons and ammunition in the village of Al-Habra in the rural area of Al-Bukmal, which led to their destruction and the outbreak of fire in them.

Similar attacks were also aimed at the weapons depot of the Shia militia "Fatimion" in the Al-Jamiyat neighborhood near the Aisha Hospital in the city of Al-Bukmal.

Also, the "Solimani" camp, which is located in the town of Al-Syal in the countryside of Deir E-Zor, was bombed from the air.

The "Soleimani" military camp includes a training center and secure living areas for the Iranian militias, according to what was reported in "Al-Forat Post".

A few weeks ago, "Camp Soleimani" was subject to American airstrikes that came in response to the attacks of the Iranian militias on the bases of the international coalition forces in Syria, according to American officials.

The local "Nahar Media" news network confirmed that an explosion occurred in two Iranian militia trucks loaded with weapons and ammunition after they were attacked on the main street in the town of Al-Abra, east of Deir ez-Zor, suggesting that the target was attacked by a drone.

Other news sites claimed that an Iraqi weapons convoy, which included 5 trucks, belonging to the Al-Hashd al-Sha'abi militia loyal to Iran, which was transporting heavy ballistic missiles from Iranian Revolutionary Guard warehouses to Hezbollah warehouses in Lebanon, was attacked.

The sites also claimed that, relying on American sources, the aircraft that attacked trucks and ammunition depots in the area belonged to the Israeli Air Force.
