Over the past week, IDF forces, under the direction of the Shin Bet, have been conducting operations to thwart terrorism throughout Judea and Samaria.

Yehuda Brigade forces and Duvdevan Unit fighters, under the direction of the Shin Bet, operated in the Hebron city area and arrested a terrorist cell that was planning to carry out an attack in the immediate future. The arrest was made following the activities of Battalion 202 fighters from the Paratroopers Brigade, who arrested two additional terrorists from Hebron and Beni Naim, who were engaged in building a terrorist infrastructure.

During the week, Binyamin Brigade forces arrested 12 wanted individuals and destroyed lathes used to manufacture weapons. In an operation in Beitunia, forces raided a Palestinian store and seized military equipment used in terrorist activities.

Menashe Brigade forces completed an operation in the village of Silat al-Khartiya, during which terrorists were arrested and an M16 weapon was seized. 

Forces from the Shomron, Etzion, and Ephraim Brigades operated in several villages and in the city of Tulkarm, arrested 25 wanted individuals, including terrorists who threw stones at Israeli civilians, and located thousands of shekels that were used as terrorist funds.

All of the wanted individuals who were arrested and the weapons that were seized were transferred for further processing by the Shi'a District Police and the Shin Bet.
