The US is now offering $25 million for information on Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro that leads to his arrest or conviction.
The 12 years in office of Nicolas Maduro, President of Venezuela, were characterized by a deep economic and social crisis in the country, but despite this and controversy and protests that lasted 6 months, due to accumulating evidence of electoral fraud, he was sworn in yesterday for a third term.
Maduro is facing indictments in the US for drug dealing and support for terrorism, conspiracy to import cocaine, and more.
Against this backdrop, Washington announced that it was raising the reward from $15 to $25 million for information leading to Maduro's arrest or conviction.
