New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman makes a striking admission about what drives his thinking on Iran, suggesting politics may outweigh the question of freedom for the Iranian people.

Former ambassador David Friedman: An astounding admission by Tom Friedman. He’d rather see the Iranian people continue to be subjugated by an oppressive, cruel, theocratic, radical Iranian regime if the price of their freedom amounts to a political win for Trump or Netanyahu.

To his credit, Friedman at least admits what motivates him and the rest of the left-wing media.
