Amid growing global security needs, the U.S. defense giant is expanding missile, launcher, and satellite output with multibillion-dollar investments and advanced automation.
In response to the dramatic rise in demand for precise and efficient weapons systems, Lockheed Martin is taking significant steps to expand production rates and align them with the security needs of the United States and its allies.
The company, considered a cornerstone of the U.S. defense industry, is investing heavily in manufacturing infrastructure, advanced automation, and strengthening its supply chain. Its central goal: to quickly and efficiently deliver technological capabilities that support global deterrence.
The PAC-3 MSE missile system is a prominent example. Following operational successes, demand for the system has surged, and Lockheed Martin aims to produce over 600 units in 2025, with a target of 650 units by 2027. A sharp increase is also seen in the production of GMLRS precision rockets, with a goal of reaching 14,000 units per year—a record-setting output that reflects the company’s ability to adapt to dynamic needs.
