At the Institute for Sea Research at the University of Haifa, they identified and tagged two sparrow-type leeks and their fins: "As a tribute to the return from captivity of Fernando Merman and Luis Herr, we decided to symbolically give the two leeks names that remind us of the names of Fernando and Luis," said Dr. Aviad Sheinin from the institute.
