Senior Israeli analysts call for dismantling Iran’s regional network while envisioning peace with a “new Iran” after the fall of the mullahs’ regime.
At a weekly summit broadcast from the studios of i24NEWS, veteran Middle East commentators Zvi Yehezkeli and Dr. Edy Cohen delivered a blunt assessment of Iran’s regional strategy and Qatar’s influence.
The conversation quickly shifted from birthday wishes to geopolitics, with Yehezkeli noting that Israel is “waiting for the American strike” on Iran. Cohen went further, arguing that any confrontation must go beyond Tehran itself.
“The mullahs in Tehran have arms that must be cut off—in Doha, in Hezbollah, and in Yemen,” Cohen said, referring to Hezbollah and the Iranian-backed network across the region. “It’s not one blow and that’s it. First you deal with the arms—because they’re the ones hitting you.”
