It seems that every senior Syrian officer, who was responsible for crimes against humanity committed by the Syrian regime against its citizens during the civil war that has been going on for more than 13 years, is doomed, in one way or another, to disappear from the stage of history "under mysterious circumstances.

Dozens of senior Syrian army officers in the ranks of lieutenant colonel, lieutenant colonel and general have already passed away without the real cause of their death becoming clear.

In the last few days it became known, through social networks, that another Syrian officer, Mammoth Ibrahim Hamidosh, died on Monday, February 12, 2024, without specifying the circumstances of his death and the place of his death.

The name of Mamdouh Hamidoosh was mentioned among the records of regime officers involved in the torture of detainees in the prisons and intelligence branches of the Syrian regime. 

In the testimony of a former detainee named Jalia Mahmoud Alsbah, it was stated that she was arrested in 2013 at the Rotana checkpoint above the President's Bridge in Damascus and was transferred to Al-Hatib branch "251" where she was tortured by two people, Jihad al-Ashkar and Lt. Col. Mammoud Hamidoosh.

Sources in Syria estimate that due to his physical proximity, as part of his work, to President Assad, he was exposed to disturbing facts that threaten the president and that he was removed from the road in order to silence him permanently.
