Lebanese Syriac Union Party Leader Ibrahim Mrad: Hezbollah are traitors who should be tried and hanged from electric poles – They destroyed Lebanon and assassinated its leaders.
Ibrahim Mrad, president of the Lebanese Syriac Union Party, said in a July 29, 2025 interview on El Siyasa Channel on YouTube that he considers Hezbollah to be traitors and that its leaders should be put on trial and hanged from electric poles.
He said Hezbollah has betrayed Lebanon and should not be allowed to participate in politics. Mrad added that this militia and political party has destroyed Lebanon, assassinated Lebanese leaders and elected officials, and should have been tried in a military court and hanged from the gallows.
Ibrahim Mrad: "I consider [Hezbollah] to be traitors. Their leaders should stand trial, and be hanged from electric poles. Hezbollah has betrayed Lebanon and should not be allowed to be involved in politics. This militia and political party that destroyed Lebanon, brought occupation upon it, and assassinated Lebanon's leaders, cabinet members, and MPs should have been tried in military court and hanged from the gallows."
