In recent years and particularly lately, the terrorist Aslim had advanced dozens of terror attacks against IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip, and therefore posed an immediate threat.

A further commander in the terror organization Hamas was also present in the attacked infrastructure; the results of the elimination are under review.
