New deployment expands AI-powered screening at Ben Gurion Airport and other checkpoints, enhancing security while accelerating passenger flow across Israel Airports Authority site
Rohde & Schwarz, a manufacturer of advanced millimeter-wave personnel screening solutions used at airports, government buildings, correctional facilities, data centers, and other high-security sites, has announced it was awarded a contract by the Israel Airports Authority to supply multiple QPS201 security scanners for passenger screening checkpoints.
The company said its QPS201 scanners are already deployed at Ben Gurion Airport and the Allenby Bridge Crossing, with additional units set to be rolled out across IAA passenger security lanes. The deployment is intended to enhance security while improving passenger experience by streamlining and accelerating the screening process.
“This contract marks an important milestone in Israel,” said Yariv Niv, CEO of Rohde & Schwarz Israel. “We are proud to support enhanced security across IAA sites while expanding the global footprint of our QPS201 systems.”
