New information has surfaced regarding a tunnel belonging to Hamas that was recently exposed in northern Gaza following severe weather conditions.
According to Israeli reports, ground collapse caused by the stormy weather over the past few days revealed the tunnel, which is located near the so-called “yellow line” — the area between the Israeli border and the vicinity of the al-Mawasi camp area.
The Israel Defense Forces assess that the tunnel is relatively new. It is situated approximately 800 meters from the Israeli border and is currently being examined to determine its full route, depth, and any branching passages.
Israeli security officials suspect the tunnel may have been intended for future terrorist activity, underscoring ongoing concerns over Hamas’ continued efforts to rebuild and expand its underground infrastructure despite sustained Israeli military pressure.
