US evacuates hundreds of troops from Qatar, Bahrain amid Iran tensions

Pentagon officials confirm that hundreds of American soldiers have been evacuated from:
• Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar
• US bases in Bahrain, home of the US Navy’s 5th Fleet

Hundreds of US troops have been pulled out of the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, also, forces have been evacuated from Bahrain.

American forces remain stationed at bases in Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates.

Why would the United States be stationed in any arab country? Look what happened recently in Syria when two US were killed by Hezbollah. They need to be in a friendly state.

Imagine the cost to the American taxpayer just to "try" keeping the peace in the Middle East, unimaginable; who else is contributing to this defense force? I'm sure Israel probable the only one.
