Newly revealed correspondence from the Epstein files includes a puzzling 2011 reference to a figure described as having briefly led the Lebanese army while serving in the Israeli military — a claim for which there is no evidence.
Documents from the files linked to the late Jeffrey Epstein include an October 2011 message sent by American businessman Thomas Pritzker to an account associated with Epstein.
The message contains a cryptic reference to a man named “Shlomo,” described as having been “the commander-in-chief of the Lebanese army for a week while serving in the Israeli army.”
The note reportedly read: “If it works for you, Shlomo will join us for lunch on Sunday. When?”
