The exercise was held in West Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Markazi, Lorestan and Zanjan provinces.

"The main goal of the exercise is to increase the level of readiness of the intelligence and security mechanisms, as well as the elimination of existing deficiencies, increasing progress in dealing with the intelligence services of the enemy and improving the level of intelligence readiness," said the commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami, on the sidelines of the extensive intelligence exercise in the western districts of the state.
