The Houthis in Yemen have recently been demonstrating their capabilities mainly against the Emirates. But it turns out that it is not only Iran that is helping this terrorist organization to acquire weapons.
A UN report released on Saturday claims that the Sultanate of Oman, Yemen's neighbor, plays an important role in the Houthi military buildup.
According to the report's editors, commercial companies registered in Oman import electronic and other components necessary for the Houthi UAV industry and smuggle them into Yemen. Investigations into missile launches fired at Saudi Arabia last year have revealed components manufactured in Germany, Turkey and China, among others.
According to the suspicion, all these components were brought to Oman and from there continued by land to the hands of the Houthis in Yemen.
