Two years after Hersh Goldberg-Polin was kidnapped and murdered by Hamas on October 7, his parents recount their desperate attempts to bring him home and the unbearable reality of life without him.
Testimony of John and Rachel Goldberg-Polin, parents of the late abductee Hersh, 23, who was kidnapped from the Beraim shelter and had his hand severed by a grenade thrown into it.
During the captivity, on April 24, 2024, Hamas released a video with a life message from the late Hersh.
A few months later, on August 31, 2024, the IDF recovered his body and the bodies of 5 other abductees who were murdered in captivity.
