PA shuts down Al Jazeera office

Special PA ministerial committee decides to suspend the broadcasts of Al Jazeera TV, says the network violated laws and regulations

A special ministerial committee in the Palestinian Authority (PA) decided on Wednesday to suspend the broadcasts of Al Jazeera TV.

In addition, the committee decided to freeze the operations of the Al Jazeera office in PA-assigned territories and temporarily suspend the activities of all journalists, employees, and teams affiliated with the network until its legal status is resolved.

A statement published by the official PA news agency Wafa stated that Al Jazeera violated the laws and regulations in force in the PA territories.

When Israel banned them from Israel they continued in the West Bank and Gaza. I think the Israel government needs a lesson on what land is Israel. They should have been shut down at the same time.

They love them when their stories are bad news about Israel but when they’re bad news about the PA it’s another thing. The PA is trying to convince the Trump team that they are best to rule Gaza. 🇮🇱
