Air traffic monitoring sources have revealed that in the past 24 hours, a massive Russian An-124 transport aircraft flew to Iran, reportedly as part of a third shipment of Russian fighter jets bound for Tehran.
Western intelligence assessments view this as preparation for the “decisive hours” of a potential confrontation with Israel.
According to FlightRadar24 data, the aircraft took off from Russia’s Irkutsk Air Base in Siberia—home to key military aviation plants producing Sukhoi Su-30 and Yak-130 fighters—and landed in Iranian territory. Satellite images show intense activity around the factory and runway, strengthening speculation that the plane carried a new batch of jets to Iran.
Military analysts note that the An-124 can carry up to six Yak-130s or two Su-30s per flight, suggesting Iran may have received four to six new fighters in recent days, in addition to two earlier shipments from late September.
