The Al-Saftawi family, opposing Hamas rule in the Gaza Strip, published a sharp statement today accusing the Hamas organization of murdering their son and claiming that “the murderer is known to them.”
The family calls to stop what they described as “crimes against the residents of the Strip” and warns that the ongoing events could lead to a severe internal escalation.
In the family’s statement, published through social networks and local media channels, it was said, among other things, that Hamas’s actions in Gaza indicate a danger of a “civil war” within the Strip and that the organization causes “killing, destruction, and burning” of innocent families.
The family explicitly criticizes Hamas’s attempts at reconciliation with other families and calls to stop the “angry bull ruling Hamas.”
The family’s statement also includes an explicit threat - “If Hamas does not stop its crimes against the honorable residents of the Strip… the next thing will be very, very serious,” as well as a religious reflection: “And she swore before you.” The family emphasized that the murderer is “known to her” and called on Hamas to put an end to these actions before it is “too late.”
