Al-Zawari has been developing advanced drones and dwarf submarines designed to hit Israel's gas rigs in Mediterranean waters for Hamas' naval commando.

In 2011, the Mossad abducted a senior member of the Hamas military wing from Ukraine, Dr. Darr Abu Sisi, a doctor of electrical engineering who was the commander of the military college of the Hamas military wing in the Gaza Strip. A mediator in the development and production of Qassam rockets and anti-tank missiles in the Gaza Strip, he was nicknamed the "father of rockets" alongside Adnan al-Ghul, who was killed by Israel in 2004.

Another famous assassination attributed to the Israeli Mossad is the assassination of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai in 2010.

Al-Mabhouh, who operated a large-scale arms smuggling network from Iran to Hamas' military wing in the Gaza Strip and was also behind the abduction and murder of two IDF soldiers, the late Ilan Saadon and Avi Sasports. He was eliminated in his room at a hotel in Dubai.

Israel's covert activities against Hamas '"construction bureau" operating from abroad to strengthen Hamas' military presence are expected to continue.
