Iran’s Supreme Leader is reportedly being hidden in a fortified underground complex, with senior officials blindfolded before meeting him.
IRAN INTERNATIONAL reported that Ali Khamenei has been relocated to a subterranean hideout in Tehran amid heightened security concerns. According to the report, senior regime figures seeking meetings with him are transported to the site blindfolded in order to prevent them from identifying its location.
An unnamed source within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed that among those brought in under these conditions was Ali Larijani, who reportedly met with Khamenei prior to a trip to Amman.
The report further alleges that Khamenei is staying in an underground bunker connected to a network of tunnels. It also claims that his son, Masoud, is currently handling routine office affairs, while Mojtaba Khamenei is maintaining contact with senior regime officials.
