Pentagon: Many Chinese companies operating in the US are helping China’s military

More than 100 Chinese companies operating in the US are helping China’s military advance, according to a new Pentagon publication.

The Pentagon names a total of 134 entities: 57 Chinese companies that the US Department of Defense claims are helping China’s military while operating on US soil, as well as 77 related subsidiaries.

Among the companies on the list: Huawei, electric vehicle battery maker CATL, video game giant Tencent, and Chinese state-owned shipping company Cosco.
