I have previously reported here on the cooling of Saudi-US relations and Riyadh's attempt to strengthen ties with Moscow. Now it seems that the expression of this distance is more tangible than ever. 

The United States has reportedly released Patriot batteries from Saudi Arabia in recent weeks despite continued missile strikes on Saudi Arabia from Yemeni territory. These are batteries that were deployed in Saudi Arabia in 2019 following an Iranian attack on strategic oil facilities in the eastern kingdom.

The Saudis do not approve of the US move and canceled US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin's planned visit to a so-called "timetable issue".

In light of the Saudi-American cooling, is there any opportunity here for the Israeli Iron Dome in Saudi Arabia?
