According to German intelligence, Iranian entities bought German technology that violated the nuclear deal.
According to a recently released security report published by the German city-state of Hamburg, Iran procured illegal technology from a German-Iranian man to the tune of $1 million. According to the Institute’s findings, the case indicates “the continued effort of Iran to break trade control laws and sanctions of other nations to procure items for its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.”
“Additionally, Iran continues to actively recruit sympathetic or persuadable individuals to acquire commodities for its sensitive programs,” added the report. “Some of these exports appear to violate the JCPOA [Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action].”
