Rescue under fire from the air and from the ground in complex terrain conditions - the combined forces of Unit 669 and Mobility Unit 5515 save lives.
Every day, rescue operations are carried out that save the lives of the fighters in the field.
In the control room in the Air Force pit, there are officials who are responsible for launching the helicopters if there is a demand to evacuate the helicopter.
At the same time, mounted evacuation teams of the Mobility Unit 5515, which are made up of Unit 669 fighters and the Mobility Unit fighters, who constitute mounted evacuation teams, are jumped to the rescue.
Dozens of combat teams of Unit 669 fight together with the maneuvering forces in the field, and constitute immediate rescue squads that provide initial medical care to the wounded. The teams of mounted mobility unit 5515 fighters and unit 669 fighters attached to them are deployed on standby in the various combat sectors. From the moment of the demand for evacuation, within a few minutes the mobility and evacuation forces quickly evacuate the wounded, while continuing to provide medical treatment until reaching the point where the wounded are lifted onto the helicopter or the mounted evacuation vehicles, from where the medical treatment continues until they arrive at the hospitals in Israel.
