Hamas confirmed on Sunday that Ahmad Zamzam, a senior officer in the terrorist organization’s Interior Ministry, was killed overnight in the al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, as Israel continues to intensify pressure on Hamas leadership following repeated ceasefire violations.
In an official statement, Hamas said Zamzam was “assassinated by armed men” in the camp. The group claimed that its internal security apparatus has arrested one suspect and opened an investigation into the incident.
