Israel will retain full control over which countries may enter Gaza and will not withdraw until Hamas is completely disarmed and the Strip is fully demilitarized.
Israel’s Security Cabinet has approved legal immunity for members of the international stabilization force expected to operate in Gaza under President Trump’s 20-point plan.
A senior diplomatic official stressed that the IDF will continue holding the Yellow Line and that no further withdrawal will take place until Hamas has been fully disarmed and Gaza completely demilitarized.
The international force will be permitted to operate only beyond the Yellow Line, in areas outside IDF control, and in full coordination with the Israeli military. Every individual deployment will require specific approval from the prime minister, defense minister and foreign minister.
