WATCH: Unit 669’s high-risk rescues across Israel’s war fronts

For two years, Unit 669 teams and Israel’s helicopter crews have flown nonstop into the heart of the fighting, from Gaza to Lebanon and other fronts.

They have carried out some of the most perilous rescue missions of the war, reaching the wounded in places no one else could and evacuating them while every moment counted.

In those two the Israeli helicopters crews didn't stop being in the field during the war and help the wounded soldiers.

I experienced two wars. Not as a soldier, but as a civilian. Those two were the 1967 the Six Day War, and 1973 the Yom-Kippur War.
