A Lebanese source revealed to the “Russia Today” news website that Beirut has received disturbing signals in recent days indicating that Israel is continuing its policy of assassinations.
The source said that Lebanon has also received signals that Israel has taken on the task of destroying Hezbollah’s military arsenal as long as the Lebanese government’s steps are not sufficient.
In this context, Israeli military vehicles stationed in the Labuneh area advanced on Tuesday evening south into Lebanese territory, towards Ras al-Naqura, and worked to raise an earthen wall, which blocked the road connecting the two areas.
A large Lebanese army force entered the town of Yahmar al-Shaqif in the Nabatieh Governorate in southern Lebanon on Tuesday evening.
