One of the five people killed in the attack that took place tonight (Tuesday) in Bnei Brak is the policeman who attacked the terrorist and shot him - Maj. Gen. Amir Khoury. The policeman rode a motorcycle with another policeman near the scene. Khoury was injured and later died of his wounds.
"The civilians and police officers who shot at the terrorists in the various arenas are the heroes of Israel," Prime Minister Naftali Bennett praised.
Yosef Halabi, an acquaintance of Khoury's eulogized him on social media and wrote that he refuses to accept the bitter news. "Amir Khoury was a special person and it is important to me that you really know who he was. One good soul with a huge and permanent smile. Always first to help every person, human and valued.
