Advanced system simplifies control of combat equipment in high-alert environments
Israeli company Wearable Devices, in collaboration with X-trodes, has completed the development and successful delivery of an innovative neural interface system designed for advanced tactical applications. The system enhances soldiers’ control over communication, navigation, and command systems on the battlefield.
The touch-free interface identifies and interprets subtle neuromuscular signals produced by the user, enabling real-time control of critical systems without disrupting combat readiness or situational awareness.
The technology integrates X-trodes’ SmartSkin system—an advanced electromyographic sensor array—with Wearable Devices’ AI-driven algorithms, which decode micro-movements and muscle activity. This fusion allows for executing complex commands through nearly invisible, intuitive gestures, eliminating the need for manual input and simplifying human-machine interaction under stress or close-contact conditions.
